This 5.5 MW Solar Power plant at Village Maheshwari, district Haridwar in Uttarakhand is the first Solar plant in India for Technique Solaire, a French company. The plant was awarded to JLTM Energy India Private Limited, an Indian subsidiary of Technique Solaire under the Uttarakhand state policy of UREDA with UPCL as the off-taker.
Looking at past track record of Enerparc in India with its smooth, clean and on time execution, coupled with European mind-set of quality, Technique Solaire decided to partner with Enerparc in January, 2017 for EPC as well as the O&M for the project. The project with its own set of challenges, was engineered, constructed and commissioned in record time of 2 months by Enerparc.
The 5.5 MW plant with seasonal tilt modules structures, covering an area of approx. 25 acres will generate 9 million units of energy annually and help in reduction of 6000 tons of CO2 emission. Also in this project Technique Solarie have developed a unique model in which they have made the local village farmers as stakeholders, so that the farmers benefit from yearly income through power generated from the plant.
