Solar panels were to be installed just 150 meters from the runway.
Potential glare from reflections could obstruct pilots’ visibility and create blind spots for Air Traffic Control (ATC), posing critical safety concerns.

Non-Disruptive Project Execution:

Enerparc Energy employed a meticulously planned project schedule, allowing work to be completed during off-peak hours to minimize disruption to airport operations.
Glare Mitigation:
Designed and installed a 7.85 MWp ground-mounted solar PV system equipped with a seasonal tilt mechanism.
Conducted comprehensive glare analysis to determine optimal tilt angles:
- Summer Tilt: 13°
- Winter Tilt: 43°

The analysis was based on the sun’s trajectory over the Delhi region across various seasons, ensuring that glare from reflections would not hinder pilot visibility or create blind spots for ATC.

Effective Labor and Material Management:
Implemented stringent project management protocols to streamline labor and material logistics.
Coordinated closely with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance, thereby minimizing the risk of delays and ensuring timely project completion.

Achieving Customer Expectations:

Successfully met the required installed capacity and corresponding energy generation.
Projected annual energy generation: 11,304,000 kWh.
Estimated CO2 emissions offset: 14,130 kg/year.
Tree Plantation Equivalent: Offset emissions equivalent to 14,727 number of trees planted annually.
