This 3.3 MWp Solar PV plant is constructed for an solar IPP under the Karnataka state Government policy. Its located in Jonnakeri village, Bidar district, which is in the northern part of Karnataka state.

Close to 9,800 Mono Crystalline modules of 335 Wp along with single axis tracker system and central inverters were used for this  ground mounted solar installation covering an area of 20 acres.

The construction of the plant was challenging as the tracker system is installed on a hilly and rocky terrain. Overall the plant was commissioned in a timely manner with annual generation of close to 6 million units.
