This 120 kWp Solar PV plant has been installed on slant roof of Kaeser Compressors India Private Limited production facility at Mulshi Taluka, Pune in state of Maharashtra. Kaeser India is the Indian arm of global leader and supplier of compressors and compressed air products Kaeser Kompressoren, Germany

The entire design, engineering and construction of the captive roof top Solar plant was completed within 3 months’ time by global solar turnkey contractor Enerparc Energy Pvt. Ltd. Though the available roof space at Kaeser plant was more compared to the installed capacity, detailed capacity analysis in terms of hourly and daily load consumption was carried out by Enerparc to get the desired solar requirement of 120kWp at customer.

This current installation portraits the company’s product line philosophy of energy efficiency and energy savings. It also reflects the long term commitment towards the sustainable environment

The solar plant with tier 1 modules, string inverters and reverse power protection on DG side will help Kaeser to be less depended on the grid energy by generating approx. 2 lakhs unit annually. The Solar plant also has a provision of net metering so that the excess power generated during the weekly off days can be exported back to the MSEDCL grid thus giving Kaeser Compressor, further benefit in addition to savings in energy tariffs.
